As this column had said, TV5 cancelled its annual Christmas party for the press and instead donated P500,000 to typhoon Yolanda victims. During the turnover of the donation, Cris Belen, Manila Bulletin entertainment editor, represented media.
Serg, ramp and commercial model, studies at Enduron Colleges and has attended sessions at International Academy of Film and Television and John Robert Powers.
He intends to enroll in more acting workshops this year, saying, “I really hope to make good in showbiz, that’y why I’m focusing on activities that will improve my personality.”

FEEDBACK – Mel Caparas believes that either KC Concepcion or Eugene Domingo deserves the MMFF best actress award. For best supporting actress his choice is either Gloria Sevilla or Bela Padilla. And that “San Pedro Calungsod” deserves the Gatpuno trophy. For 2nd best picture, Mel says it’s “Pagpag” and for 3rd best picture “Boy Golden.”
Otherwise, the rest of the awardees are okay.
FAMILY FEUDS – Several readers add family feuds Highspeed missed in a previous column.
Kris Aquino vs. James Yap over visiting rights to their son Bimby. She accused ex-husband of inappropriate behavior in front of the boy.
Daiana Menezes vs. husband ex-Rep. Benjo Benaldo of violent behavior… on Twitter and Instagram. She later denied she was a victim of domestic violence, claiming she was misunderstood.
Heart Evangelista vs. parents over sweetheart Sen. Chiz Escudero. But then she’s reconciled with her father, but still working on her mother who remains unforgiving.
