BEST SHOT: It was the best shot anyone could ask for. Unsolicited as it was, it also came for free.
Beauche International chair and president Conchita Toribio de los Reyes is still beside herself with disbelief recalling how, during a recent TV interview, Ryzza Mae Dizon blurted out to Kris Aquino: ‘Ang kinis-kinis, ang ganda-ganda po ng mukha n’yo. Gumagamit po ba kayo ng Beauche?’
The startled Kris was dumbfounded right there on the set of her TV show, Kris TV. She hadn’t heard of Beauche, except that morning from this little child wonder who said that she knew about the company’s line of beauty products from her mother, who is an avid user.
Beauche’s product lines include beauty bar soap, clarifying solution, exfoliating cream, rejuvenating cream, age eraser cream and Beauche Gluta soap. All of these products, says Madam Che, are hypoallergenic and FDV approved and Halal certified.
They were also all formulated locally, by a team of chemists and pharmarcists put together by Ms. Che, former mayor of her hometown, Carmen, Bohol.
BEAUCHE INTERNATIONAL held the very first Miss Beauche International beauty pageant on December 14 at the Grand Ballroom of Solaire Resort and Casino in Paranaque.
Its winner, Anne Mabel Ubando, from Dagupan will serve as the brand’s first endorser.
Her court consists of Patricia Ramos (Manila), first runnerup; Alyssa Ashley Calimlim (Baguio), second runner-up; Lynne de Mesa (Quezon City), third runner-up; and Jovilyn Gavan (Zamboanga), fourth runner-up.
The beauties were judged by a distingfuished panel led by Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz.
Beauche has its own manufacturing plant in Dasmarifias, Cavite. It is preparing for international distribution in 2014 following a highly successful entry in the beauty market through direct marketing only.
