THE Cinemanila International Film Festival goes bigger this year as it premieres a wider range of films to the Filipino audience.
Aside from Cannes Festival and Berlin International Film Festival winners, this 2013, Cinemanila will also feature numerous contenders from other prestigious film award-giving bodies.
Cinemanila 2013 aims to bring the spirit of Oscar among Filipino and Asian filmmakers to get a glimpse of the Oscar trend hoping to share a wider and broader perspective of World Cinema.
Films vying for slots in Oscar include “IIo-ilo” (Singapore), “Neigboring Sound” (Brazil), “The Missing Picture” (Cambodia), “In Bloom” (Georgia), “Winter of Discontent” (Egypt), “Heli” (Mexico), “The Rocket” (Australia), “The Great Beauty” (Italy), and our very own, “Transit” (Philippines).

The Cinemanila International Film Festival will run from Dec. 18 to 22 at SM Aura Cinema Premiere, Taguig City. Screening schedules and ticket price will be announced ASAP.
