MOST ‘MATUNOG’ – As of this writing, “My Little Bossing” is the most “matunog, maingay” of all entries to the December Metro Manila Film Festival.
It figures as two little charmers topbill the movie: new child wonder Ryzza Mae Dizon and presidential nephew James “Bimby” Aquino Yap. Not to mention “big bossing Vic Sotto and Bimby’s mother, the ever controversial Kris Aquino. And father, too, basketball superstar James Yap.
But then Kris is only a guest star in “My Little Bossing.”
This early, “My Little Bossing” is predicted to be the “runaway winner” and “topgrosser” of the 2013 MMFF.
OTHER ENTRIES – Here are the seven other Metro filmfest entries. In no particular order:
“BOY GOLDEN” – ER Ejercito and KC Concepcion.
“SAN PEDRO CALUNGSOD” – Rocco Nacino.
“BOY, GIRL, BAKLA, TOMBOY” – Maricel Soriano, Vice Ganda.
“PAGPAG” – Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo.
“KALEIDOSCOPE WORLD” – Sef Cayadona.
“KIMY DORA PREQUEL” – Eugene Domingo
“10,000 HOURS” – Robin Padilla.
BOX-OFFICE – Last year MMFF grossed over R700 million nationwide.
Will the box-office take this year equal or even exceed R700 million?
Hopefully yes, despite the crises in Bohol, Zamboanga, Leyte, Samar, Cebu, Antique, Iloilo, and Palawan.
Beneficiaries of MMFF include Mowelfund, Film Academy of the Philippines, and Optical Media Board.
Mowelfund is in dire need of assistance as many of its members are unemployed and sick. Boots Anson Roa works extra hard to maintain Mowelfund and provide cash benefits to its members.
