Sarangani Vice Governor Jinkee Pacquiao finds rumors that she she and congressman Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao are bankrupt quite “funny.”
In a report on GMA Network, Jinkee admitted that while they spent a substantial amount of money for their campaign during the recent election, it doesn’t mean they have gone bankrupt.
She said they are selling their house in Los Angeles (for $2.7 million) because they want to buy a property in Beverly Hills.
“We are selling the LA mansion kasi parang wala na talaga kaming privacy. Kumbaga naisip namin na everytime na pupunta kami doon yung mga kapitbahay namin nagrereklamo kasi daw laging maraming tao. Tapos yung ibang kahit hindi puwedeng papasukin, doon sila nagiingay sa labas so nagrereklamo sila (kapitbahay).
“So ngayon gusto namin ibenta para maghanap kami ng gated at may security (na bahay),” she said.
Jinkee also denied that they have sold their house in Forbes Park, Makati City.
“Ay hindi,” she quipped.
In fact, they are planning to build a first class resort on their 21-hectare property in Maasim, Sarangani. Their other businesses, she added, are doing well.
